As I’m working for the Dubbing Industry (and producing film music & mixing is more a side job), I’m really waiting for the 5.1 Version. So this could be a 5 led stripe at the top. Mixbus32C provides professional-level features to import or record an. I really would like to have the “Tape meters” in Mixbus that makes it easier to find an instrument. My DDA AMR24 cost 120.000$ 1990 and I was dreaming about, to get such a sound out of it.Īs we worked those days with a 24 Channel Otari Recorder, we always had the meters on the machine to see “What is on the Tape”. Nuendo 6 is 1.700$ (2014) and doesn’t run under Win10 anymore (!). I wish to have the Mixbus Standard with the EQ’s of the 32C version and I’m ready to pay a 300$ for it. Replace that for bigger selection button (we have enough trimming options for signals), this little tiny green Leds are hard to see and makes work uncomfortable. The Mixbus selection Trimming knobs in 32C version are 99% obsolete. I don’t need 12 Mixbus Chanel, 8 are enough. But that’s all in comparison to Mixbus standard. The silver in the treble is great, EQ’s more powerful in 32C. My Quickie Remix has been done at home mostly with a headset and lousy 100$ PC speakers. Here is a Remix of “The Brew“ which was really great recorded by professionals with loads of Mic’s. I imported those buses into Mixbus 32C V3 tracks. If you are striving to make 'in the box' mixes that sound like a hit record, Mixbus32C is the tool you are looking for. Then I turned off all FXs (tape and console) and then did a bus export. Mixbus32C music software is a full-featured digital audio workstation that improves on the Mixbus platform with an exact emulation of the original Harrison 32C. And yes, the EQ’s in 32C Version is sexier. Soundwise took a David Glenn multi-track recording and built a SONAR PC 'Console' using tape and console on every track and bus. It therefore offers four-band EQ, with the top band switchable between shelving and peaking, and both high- and low-pass filters. The software runs on Windows 7 or higher (64 bit), macOS 10.10 or higher and Linux. First, while MixBus offers three-band sweepable EQ and a high-pass filter on each channel, MixBus 32C’s EQ takes its design from Harrison’s 32-series hardware mixers. Mix bus channels are used to collect the outputs from the input channels into groups. If you own the previous version, you’re most likely eligible for a discounted upgrade, although we don’t know the price at this point. Coming from a time, where Cubase was a MIDI sequencer on a Commodore (and that was revolution), my first real console was a Trident 75 and then a DDA AMR24, past six years Nuendo 6 and now one week testing Mixbus. Price and compatibility Harrison Mixbus32C v8 is now available for USD 349.
